Why support the Ministry Fund? Because it helps missionaries hear the call, reach the field, and focus on ministry.

As our ministry continues expanding, WHM's Ministry Fund is a vital component to sustain our growth.

While all WHM missionaries raise their own support, the Ministry Fund allows us to provide essential services to our missionaries without increasing the burden on their support accounts. Essentially, the Ministry Fund enables us to offset individual missionary's personal support levels.

Challenge people to take risks for the Kingdom

Our Mobilization Team challenges folks to consider both long and short-term ministry, goes overseas with individuals considering service, and responds to the questions that come as individuals explore this calling for their life. More than 100 individuals have been approved as missionaries in the last four years due to these efforts.

Assist missionaries in preparing for ministry

After we help each individual assess their personal calling and approve them as missionaries, we prepare them to go overseas. Personal Support Coaches assist in support-raising, and care for their spiritual well being in the process. An Overseas Educational Advisor assists in planning for their children's educational needs. New missionaries are discipled by experienced staff and receive specialized pre-field training.

Provide excellent care for missionaries on the field

The care that begins before a missionary reaches the field continues once they reach the field. As missionary families, and teams grow, we are in regular contact with them on issues like, health care, children's education, personal crises, and team dynamics.

Enable missionaries to focus on ministry, not administration

By processing support checks, sending donor receipts, processing prayer letters, maintaining donor contact information, and handling other critical administrative details our missionaries and teams are able to focus more on ministry.

Walk alongside missionaries during transition periods

Missionaries return to the U.S. for any number of reasons, including home ministry assignment (HMA), health or safety concerns, marriage, children's needs, further education, financial issues, a change in ministry vision, or concluding their term of service. We strive to come alongside missionaries, ease the transition, and address their unique situation.

Encourage and equip the believer's Christian walk and ministry

Beyond the missionaries we support, WHM's website and newsletter, Harvester, reach tens of thousands of individuals, sharing stories of changed lives, enlisting prayer, and encouraging involvement in world evangelization. WHM also impacts thousands of believers in the States and around the world with the message of God's grace through discipling programs, renewal seminars, and publications like Sonship, Gospel Transformation and Living in Light.
