Melissa Garner
Melissa grew up in Leesburg, Florida, and in the Fall of 200, moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she attended Samford University and The Church at Brook Hills.
Melissa's story is one of God's faithfulness. After many months of prayer, unrest, and uncertainty, God lead her to South Sudan, a place she knew little to nothing of prior to this trip. She spent a few months as an intern, and it was not long before Melissa fell in love with the World Harvest team and the people of Mundri. The Lord confirmed His calling for her to serve long term and began to show her where and how she would fit into His plan for South Sudan. Melissa is so amazed and privileged at God's calling on her life and excited about what lies ahead.
Melissa is currently teaching missionary kids, training local teachers, and investing in relationships with women in the community.
