Michael and Karen Masso
Michael and Karen Masso are leading our team in Mundri, South Sudan. They moved to South Sudan in 2008 after 13 years of service with our team in Bundibugyo, Uganda. Their children, Acacia, Liana, and Gabriel have grown up in Africa. Michael has training in civil engineering, community development, and missiology and Karen’s background is elementary education.
Michael and Karen provide oversight and direction for a multi-disciplinary team which is engaged in evangelism, discipleship, theological education, counseling, training of primary school teachers, public health, community water supply, agriculture, and other community development projects. The team works in partnership with the Episcopal Church of Sudan, Diocese of Mundri.
Michael works mainly in the areas of team administration, building and development projects, and theological education. Karen invests in team mentoring, accounting, communication, and administration.
