Chris and Jane French
Chris joined World Harvest in 1994 to oversee the Sending Center’s growing computer network. Being the only full-time computer person on staff, Chris does a little bit of everything: programming, hardware and software maintenance, network oversight, user assistance, troubleshooting of all types, administration, quality assurance, and purchasing, among other things. He particularly enjoys coming up with new ways to use computers to automate routine office tasks, resulting in improved efficiency, better information and greater employee job satisfaction. With all the threats facing computer networks, Chris rates his number one responsibility as security, a constantly-evolving realm to which he devotes considerable attention.
Chris’ wife, Jane, is a former missionary with Arab World Ministries. Her main ministry with World Harvest is that of praying for its missionaries, a responsibility she takes very seriously. She is also a part-time bookkeeper for another Christian ministry organization. They have two daughters, Julia (college-age) and Amy (high school-age). Both girls have served overseas and at home in short-term, front-line missionary roles.
