Sarah Crane grew up in a family passionate about Jesus and serving His people. She has been excited about knowing Him and telling others about His beautiful love through service and relationship for many years. Sarah fell in love with the people of East Africa on her first journey there in 2008, where she visited Kenya (she visited South Africa too, but the Kenyans and East Africa stole her heart!).
After she graduated from university, Sarah spent most of 2011 living and serving in Jinja, Uganda and Kampala, Uganda with three orphanages. She was once again captured by the people and the work of the Kingdom in East Africa. Her heart beats for the Lord's Kingdom moving forward and for His heart for orphans and vulnerable children. She spent 2012 working with a ministry Stateside which cares for many orphans, vulnerable children, and families in Uganda, but her heart continually was drawn to go and give her life away for the sake of His name being made known. Sarah is thrilled to be joining the WHM team in Bundibugyo, Uganda to be the Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Program Assistant and an Apprentice. She hopes to leave in May 2013.
