Kevin & Shellie Rees
Kevin and Shellie Rees, together with their children--Seth (97), Emma (99), Abby (01), Nate (02), and Jocelyn (05)-- joined the World Harvest Mission team in Bundibugyo, Uganda in 2012 for the purpose of developing Christian leadership in missionaries and community church leaders and encouraging local congregations to grow in understanding and proclamation of the depth and breadth of the Gospel in their public worship and community outreach for the good of Bundibugyo and God's glory.
Kevin was formally educated at Washington Bible College (BA Bible 95) and Captial Bible Seminary (MA Bible 97, MDiv 98). He has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1994 in such roles as youth pastor, worship leader, associate pastor, senior pastor, and cross-cultural church planter (Italy). Shellie earned her BS in Biology from Furman University (96). Her main ministry since their marriage in June 1995 has been their family. She is currently studying to become an RN.
The Rees' passion is to advance the church locally, regionally, and globally through formal and informal discipleship and to help others discover their true identity in Christ.
