Chase and Sha Johnson
Chase Johnson and Ailisha O'Sullivan (Chase and Sha) have been in Cluj, Romania since 1996, sent by their PCA church in Chicago. In 2002 they were accepted as Word Harvest missionaries. Both of them work to assist the indigenous, Cluj-based ministries below (founded by Romanian-born Hungarians in Romania) in:
> organizational planning and visioning
> small group leadership
> relational evangelism
> relational discipleship
> assorted English language based tasks, e.g., teaching English, writing and editing English grant applications, newsletters, brochures, correspondence, other texts.
Genezius Association, an outreach/pastoral ministry to university students and young professionals that grew out of miraculous revival that took place through the underground church before the fall of Communism in 1989.
Tóköz [Between the Lakes] Church, a congregation of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Romania and Chase and Sha's home church in Cluj.
Koinónia Publishing, a publishing house that also grew out of the spiritual community of the Genezius Association ministry.
Bonus Pastor [Good Shepherd] Foundation, a ministry to alcoholics and their families which grew out of the Genezius Association.
The Reformed Montessori School and Kindergarten, founded in 2000 by parents, teachers, and ministers, enthusiastic to promote Christian education, in place of the impersonal, regurgitative, overly exam-focused teaching of State run schools.
