The Hyltons
Joel and Cindy are located in London, UK working with MAP, a WHM ministry/leadership training program for people who are looking to explore a call to ministry or to train for missions. In 2004, the Hyltons moved from Asheville, NC with their four daughters to Dublin, Ireland. Ongoing immigration issues led them to relocate with the MAP team to London in 2009. Joel serves full-time as team leader and Cindy handles the team finances, oversees the program curriculum, teaches, and mentors. MAP offers various training programs including 15-24 month apprenticeships and two month summer internships. Each program has an emphasis on partnering with local church planting efforts. Interns and apprentices come from the US and the UK as well as a variety of other countries. The MAP staff have a passion for seeing men and women captured by the good news of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection so that they are challenged and freed up to give their lives for the sake of others. To that end the program offers training in personal discipleship, world religions, missiology, evangelism, mentoring, cross-cultural living and relationships. They are supported through donations to WHM.
