Taylor Fletcher
Taylor Fletcher was born in 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia, the only child of parents, Russ and Karen Fletcher. He was raised in a Christian home in Canton, GA, and attended public school until the fifth grade, when his parents decided to place him in a Christian school. This began a period of Christian education that culminated in Taylor's graduation from Covenant College in May of 2012 with a BA in Biblical & Theological Studies with concentrations in Missions and Sociology.
Throughout college his faith in Christ was challenged and enriched through rigorous classes, influential professors, membership in a local church, intense hall community, and, in the summers of 2009 and 2011, internships with World Harvest Mission to Ireland and Kenya, respectively. During Taylor's senior year, while contemplating post-college plans, he eventually settled on returning to Kenya for a longer term to continue in the chronological Bible storying (CBS) ministry with the Mixons. This ministry seeks to strengthen the Kenyan church through training pastors and church leaders in CBS in the hopes that the teaching in their congregations and communities will be strengthened and deepened, leading to transformed lives in Jesus Christ. Taylor is seeking to be obedient to Christ wherever he places him and is eager to return to the field.
