Chip and Meredith Jones
Chip and Meredith Jones learned of WHM through the “Sonship” materials in 1996. Being moved by new depths of the gospels’ impact on their lives, they began to be interested in missions.
Chip was raised in Chesapeake VA and Meredith was raised in Atlanta GA. They were both from Christian homes and came to Christ at an early age. They married in 1991 in her little church in the shadow of Stone Mountain. In 1995 they became members at Mount Zion Fellowship in Suffolk VA where Chip served as a deacon and they were an active part of that congregation until moving to the mountains of NC in 2001. During that time they were also blessed with a baby girl, Cobi, and 18 months later a baby boy, Micah.
They began attending Grace Community Church in 2001. While there, another baby boy arrived, Zeb, and they continued their training in Discipleship ministry. In 2002 they met Rose Marie Miller, (wife of WHM founder), at a Sonship conference. Chip approached and asked “Does World Harvest Mission have any use for a guy like me?” From that point on, God has systematically moved them to follow Him to Chile, South America.
Chip and Meredith will come alongside of Brad and Margarita Wallace (current missionaries to Chile) in Church and Pastorate construction, auto mechanics and assisting in the discipleship of the church body. They look forward to joining this beautiful group of people and sharing their love of Jesus.
