Brad and Stacey Hunter
Born in 1973 and raised on a farm in rural Iowa, Stacey moved with her mother and brother to central Illinois at age 11. She began her walk with Christ in college, and after graduating from nursing school in 1996, Stacey went on her first mission trip to Vienna, Austria.
Brad, also born in 1973, grew up in South Florida in a believing family and was led to Christ at an early age. He studied German & International Studies at Notre Dame, spending his sophomore year at the University of Innsbruck. After graduation, Brad went on a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship to Vienna, assisting missionaries from Stacey’s home church.
In June 1996, Brad’s missionary friends invited a team from their church to visit. There Brad and Stacey met, a year later they married and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Brad finished his M.Div. at Knox Seminary in 2000, was called and ordained in his home church of St. Andrews PCA Hollywood, Florida. While in Florida, God blessed they with 3 children: Luke (1999), Abby (2001), and Levi (2004).
God led the Hunter's back to Vienna in 2007 with WHM to lead a church planting team. In 2009 the team launched New City Wien, an international, bilingual church plant near the city's center.
