Leah Emory
Leah was raised in a supportive and loving Christian home in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Her interest in international missions began at an early age due to a strong missions focus at the church she grew up in. That interest became a calling as she entered college. Soon after graduating from College of Charleston she began looking for an opportunity to serve. In 2007 she became an apprentice with the Missionary Apprentice Program in Ireland. While there she saw the great spiritual need for Christ in Ireland, and Europe as a whole. She also saw the need for strong national leaders to be trained up to serve and lead in the local churches. Fast forward to 2011 and she is raising support to serve with the MAP team in London! She will work with MAP to build relationships with potential ministry partners, disciple and teach apprentices and interns, and recruit potential participants. She is sad to leave the three little boys she has been 'nannying' for three years but excited to be a part of seeing God's love change lives in London!
