Matt and Nicole Creacy
Matt and Nicole have been life long friends and finally tied the knot in October of 2008. Matt attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and his major was Theatrical Studies. Nicole attended Anderson University in Anderson, SC and finished with a B.A. in Painting and Drawing. They currently live in Greenville, SC and have a precious little girl, Thayne, and are expecting a little brother to join the family in February of 2013.
In the summer of 2007 Matt interned with World Harvest in Southall, London. It was there that he began to feel God's calling towards missions. Nicole's calling began much earlier in life. She has many family members who are missionaries or in ministry and has felt a pull to missions since high school. During their engagement and first year of marriage they prayed and talked about where God might be leading them in the future. Because of Matt's connection with World Harvest, they took a vision trip to London, in February 2010. He graciously and miraculously provided the means to take the vision trip, and while there, they felt a strong connection to the city and the people. The Lord has on numerous occasions shown that He is leading them to serve in London, that His Glory would be known and displayed.
They have currently been accepted into MAP and are projected to leave June of 2013 and will spend 18 months serving in Shepherd's Bush with the church plant, 'New City'. They hope to use their God given talents in art and theater to help build relationships with the locals and members of New City Church.
Their prayer is that God will reveal His glory through the team, that He will use their time in London to grow His Kingdom through their service and that He would direct the Creacys personally to where He would have them for the long term. To Him be all the Glory.
