Dennis & Cynthia Morgan
Dennis and Cynde Morgan are invested in ministry in Vienna, Austria where they are serving on the New City Wien church planting team. They are focused on discipleship, outreach, and mercy ministry. Dr. Morgan uses his expertise as a Clinical Psychologist to serve the city through consulting with Pro-Family Counseling and with a team ministering to women in forced prostitution and sex trafficking. Cynde’s outreach is through International Christian School of Vienna, as their Guidance Counselor and School Psychologist.
Dennis lived in Iowa till age 18 and then relocated to California. Cynde is from the San Francisco Bay Area. They met at Abilene Christian University and married in 1975. Dennis completed his masters and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology, and his MATS degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. Cynde received her masters degree in counseling from Cal State University, Fullerton and completed advanced coursework in School Psychology. Dennis was a practicing psychologist for 30 years, serving the Christian community, and a graduate school professor for 10 years, training Christian counselors. He has also authored two books, Fighting for Peace: Combating Conflict with Character and another entitled Life in Process. Cynde worked as a school counselor and in various administrative positions in higher education, as well as having home schooled their two now adult children: Andrew and Heather.
Missions has always been on Dennis and Cynde’s minds, even in conversations before they married. From 2002 through 2011, they made annual short-term missions trips to Vienna.
