Bob Osborne

Bob Osborne | Executive Director

Bob Osborne serves as the Executive Director for World Harvest Mission. Bob graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Psychology in 1979, following which he spent time in Africa working with the Peace Corps and UNICEF. After completing a Masters’ in International and Cross-cultural Administration, Bob worked with CARE in Mozambique and Kenya, overseeing relief work and managing development projects. During their time in Kenya, Bob and his wife, Nancy, came to Christ through the witness of local Christian missionaries. Upon returning to the US, Bob served as Executive Director of the Charlottesville, VA affiliate of Love INC, then as Director of Missions and Ministries at Trinity Presbyterian Church. In 2002, Bob joined WHM as U.S. Director, and in 2005 he was appointed Executive Director. Bob has a passion for seeing the Kingdom advance through the power of the gospel changing lives of believers and unbelievers. Bob and Nancy have two children – Leigh and Brian. In his spare time, Bob loves to play shuffleboard and bocce.

Carolyn Stonehouse

Carolyn Stonehouse | Director of Operations

Carolyn Stonehouse serves as the Director of Operations at World Harvest Mission. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Carolyn graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Political Philosophy and subsequently moved to Washington, DC. For many years, Carolyn worked with Prison Fellowship International (PFI) and eventually served as the National Director of Angel Tree for the US-based ministry of Prison Fellowship. After her time with Angel Tree, Carolyn ran her own non-profit consultancy specializing in new program development, program reengineering, strategic planning and marketing. She has a deep love for seeing God bring the healing truth of the Gospel to the world through His church, and has a great sense of calling in providing effective infrastructure that allows the church to minister on His behalf. Carolyn and her husband, Tim, have one child – William. In her spare time, Carolyn is an avid cook and gardener.

Paul Leary

Paul Leary | Director of Ministries

Paul Leary serves as the Director of Ministries at World Harvest Mission. Paul graduated from the University of Virginia in 1981 with a degree in Finance, and immediately joined the staff of InterVarsity (IV) to work on campus at Duke, N.C. State, and East Carolina. In 1986, he transferred to Dallas where he became the Director for IV in Texas. Paul and his wife, Lynn, moved to Uganda in 1992 to join the WHM team in Bundibugyo; Paul served as the leader for the church-planting, bible translation, and medical work in the mountains of Western Uganda. The Leary family returned to the US in 2001, and Paul has been working in the Sending Center with overseas teams ever since. Paul and Lynn have three children – Libby, Matt, and Jacinta. In his spare time, Paul enjoys watching sports and he can often be found helping friends and neighbors complete construction and remodeling projects.
