Where We Serve
Austria
Our team has been working in Austria’s capital city of Vienna since 2007, and in 2009 launched a church-plant near the city’s center, where our team seeks to build relationships with Austrian urbanites, students, and internationals. Read more at www.visionvienna.com
Chile
Our Chile team has been serving the local church near Quillota through the discipling of church leaders and the construction of church buildings since 2000.
Czech Republic

England
Our original team in England began working in the Southall neighborhood of London in 1990, seeking to reach South Asians through the establishment of a vital British Asian church. Since that time, we have expanded our work in London to include several other teams:
- Camden: Our team, established in 2005, employs a variety of evangelism, church-planting and equipping techniques and ideas as they seek to be culturally relevant and biblically faithful while working in the Camden borough of London—a center for alternative sub-cultures, art, fashion, and music.
- Harrow: In 2004, our team was started in the Harrow neighborhood slightly north of Southall. This team reaches out through street evangelism, events, short-term mission teams, and regular worship services. A branch of WHM-UK’s charity shoppe, Asha, is located in the Harrow neighborhood.
- Missionary Apprentice Program: Our Missionary Apprentice Team exists to mentor and disciple the next generation of young people who will further the expansion of Jesus’ global kingdom. This program moved from Dublin to London in 2009 and has a small team of long-term staff who mentor apprentices through the program.
- Southall: Our team and New Life Masih Ghar (a church planted by WHM) continues to reach out to the Southall neighborhood through street evangelism, events, short-term mission teams, and regular worship services. The team also operates a local charity shoppe, Asha, which raises funds for ministries in South Asia.
Ireland
World Harvest missionaries were at work in Ireland even before the mission’s formal organization in 1983. Hope Christian Fellowship was planted in 1988, and the church transitioned to national leadership in 1992. Today, our team is discipling Irish church-planters and leaders in multiple locations in Dublin and around the country.
Kenya
Our team began ministering in Kenya before the mission’s formal organization in 1983. The focus of our current ministry is twofold: mentoring church-planters and local church leaders, and performing youth and medical outreach in the slums of Nairobi.
Romania
Working among the creative community in Cluj for more than ten years, our Romania team currently assists in the operation of a Christian publishing house, and student and youth ministry.
Spain
Through a variety of mercy ministries, English language classes, and a church planted in 2009, our Spain team has been ministering among students and immigrants since 1998.
S. Sudan
Our Sudan team began its work in 2007 and seeks to bring gospel reconciliation and hope to a people who’ve suffered 20 years of civil war. Our team’s work is focused on increasing access to education, clean water, and theological training as well as evangelism, youth ministry, and discipleship.
The Netherlands
Our team first entered the Netherlands in 1989 after many short term projects in the 80’s. The team planted a church in a northern section of Amsterdam, and is currently working alongside Crossroads International Church in Amsterdam. The church reaches a cosmopolitan population, but is about 70% Dutch in composition.
Uganda
World Harvest missionaries were ministering in Uganda even before the mission’s formal organization in 1983. Over the years, our team’s ministry has encompassed church-planting, community development, and education initiatives. Currently led by two missionary doctors, our Uganda team serves the local church through medical care, community health, and the ministry of Christ School Bundibugyo.
United States
In addition to our work overseas, World Harvest also partners with church leaders and congregations stateside through personal mentoring, discipleship resources, and equipping for missions. We’re passionate about seeing individuals, families and communities so changed and renewed by the gospel of grace that they joyfully pursue their role in God’s Kingdom.
*In addition to the countries listed above, WHM has begun to develop “creative access teams” where team members use their skills and business interests to share their lives with others and support the indigenous church.
